Stucco

The stucco was completed and they finished the texture on the walls inside last week. Unfortunately when we went to visit the house last weekend, I left the memory card at home so no pictures.

Insulation

We had our frame walk through on Dave's birthday, but I was sick so Dave went solo. They showed up an hour late, but everything looked good. It's been HOT HOT HOT here, but luckily it's cooler where our new house is and there is a breeze most of the time. Here is the family room with the fireplace and the wall with insulation. Exciting, right?

Oskar visits the house

Well the house endured it's first rain storm. At best, it lasted an hour, but there was thunder and lightening so at least it was a good show. Back to the regularly scheduled sun...

We took Oskar out to the house today since it wasn't blazing hot. He discovered one of the neighbors behind us also has a dog that likes to bark. Oskar will fit right in to the neighborhood.

We have an appointment for our frame walk on Tuesday. That means they are going to start drywalling soon! Poor Gigantor won't be able to walk through the walls anymore.

Baby Blog

Well the house can't have a blog without the baby having a blog.
So...I present Gigantor's Blog.

Electricity

They started the electrical and the ducting in the house. We also have an awesome rocky driveway and tiles sitting on our roof -- isn't that what ever girl wants?
